Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By booking BhagyaWed's services, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement under Indian Contract Act, 1872.

2. Booking & Confirmation

• Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of advance payment (as per agreed amount)
• A booking form / contract must be signed by both parties
• BhagyaWed reserves the right to refuse bookings at its discretion
• Date holds without advance payment are not guaranteed

3. Payment Terms

• Advance: 30-50% of total package amount at booking confirmation
• Balance: Due 7 days before the event date
• Payment accepted via UPI, bank transfer, or cash
• GST applicable as per Indian tax laws
• Receipts provided for all payments

4. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation by client 30+ days before event: 50% advance refunded
• Cancellation by client 15-30 days before event: 25% advance refunded
• Cancellation by client less than 15 days: No refund
• Cancellation by BhagyaWed: Full advance refunded + 10% compensation
• Force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions): Rescheduling offered; no refund on cancellation

5. Rescheduling

• One free rescheduling allowed if requested 15+ days in advance (subject to availability)
• Additional rescheduling: ₹2,000 fee applies
• Date changes within 7 days of event: Treated as cancellation

6. Deliverables

• Edited photos delivered within 30-45 working days
• Cinematic films/teasers delivered within 60-90 working days
• Delivery via Google Drive / WeTransfer link
• RAW/unedited files are NOT provided
• Editing style is at photographer's artistic discretion
• Revision requests: 1 round included; additional revisions charged separately

7. On-Site Terms

• Client must ensure photographer/videographer has safe, unobstructed access to venue
• BhagyaWed is not responsible for restrictions imposed by venue management
• Adequate lighting conditions are client's responsibility for indoor venues
• BhagyaWed's team must be provided meals during events exceeding 4 hours

8. Copyright & Usage Rights

• All media created by BhagyaWed is protected under Copyright Act, 1957
• Client receives personal usage license only (social media, personal prints, sharing)
• Commercial use, resale, or sublicensing is strictly prohibited
• BhagyaWed retains right to use media for portfolio, website, and social media unless client opts out in writing before the event

9. Liability

• BhagyaWed's liability is limited to the total amount paid for services
• We are not liable for: equipment failure due to external factors, acts of God, venue restrictions, or third-party interference
• We maintain backup equipment on all shoots
• In rare cases of total media loss: full refund provided

10. Client Conduct

• Client is responsible for informing BhagyaWed of any special requirements, cultural sensitivities, or restricted photography zones
• Harassment of BhagyaWed team members will result in immediate termination of services without refund

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, India.
